On December 15th, Kenyan journalists were invited to a thematic workshop on mangrove conservation and resilience in order to better apprehend this complex ecosystem.
The workshop gathered some twenty journalists, scientists, civil society actors and mangrove users for a day of knowledge exchange on Kenya’s mangrove forests. The IRD and Cirad-led Mikoko project actors participated and shared their views on this precious ecosystem. Diani, a Kenyan town surrounded my mangrove, hosted the workshop.
